imToken now supports getting stock tokens through 1inch. 1inch aggregates liquidity across the market and helps reduce MEV impact so you can swap at a better price.
These stock tokens are provided by Ondo Finance, an RWA platform. Ondo’s stock/ETF tokens represent the economic rights of the underlying assets. The assets are held with regulated custodians (e.g., Mastercard, J.P. Morgan partners), letting you conveniently get stock exposure on-chain.
How to get stock tokens with 1inch
Step 1: Connect your wallet
1. In imToken, open your Ethereum account and switch to the Browser tab.
2. Search for 1inch or visit https://1inch.com/swap?src=1:USDC&dst=1:AAPLon
3. Click Get started → Connect wallet → the imToken icon, then tap Confirm to connect your wallet.
Step 2: Choose tokens and get a quote
1. Pay token: In the Pay on Ethereum section, click on the token field, select/search the token to pay with (e.g., USDC), confirm the Ethereum network, and enter the amount.
2. Target token (stock token): In the Receive section, click SELECT TOKEN +, then search for the stock token you want to receive and view the quote, for example:

Step 3: Submit and complete the swap
1. After you get a quote, tap Permit and swap, then tap Confirm to send the approval transaction.
2. Tap Confirm Swap, then follow the prompts to Sign and place the order.
- To receive in another Ethereum wallet, click the wallet icon to the left of the Permit and swap button, then enter the destination address.
3. Wait for confirmation(the order is valid for 3 minutes): 1inch will route the best path and execute the swap. Completion time varies with liquidity and network congestion, usually within seconds to a few minutes.
💡Tip: How to check or cancel a pending order:
- At the bottom of the 1inch page, tap the blue progress bar, → or the circular account button in the top-right corner to go to Activity and view status. If the order shows Pending, you can tap Cancel to stop it.
Step 4: View your received tokens
1. After the swap, return to your Ethereum account and tap the “+” button.
2. In All My Assets, select the stock token you just swapped for (e.g., AAPLon).
3. Go back to the account home page to see your balance.
4. To swap stock tokens back to other tokens on Ethereum, follow the same steps in reverse.
FAQs
A. Getting Stock Tokens via 1inch
Q1. Can’t find the stock token you want?
Make sure you’re connected to your Ethereum account and have entered the correct stock or ETF name. Ondo supports over a hundred stock and ETF tokens.
Q2. On which other networks can I get stock tokens?
Ondo Finance now supports stock tokens on the BNB Smart Chain.
To access them, switch to your BNB Smart Chain account in imToken and swap using USDT or BNB on 1inch.
Note that liquidity on BNB Smart Chain is currently lower than on Ethereum, which may affect swap speed and slippage.
Q3. Why do I need to approve before swapping?
For ERC-20 tokens (e.g., USDC/USDT), your first swap requires an approval/permit so the DApp can spend a limited amount on your behalf. ETH (the native token) doesn’t require approval.
After you finish using a DApp, you can revoke approvals anytime using tools like Revoke.
On the imToken homepage → USDC token → Token function button in the bottom left corner → Revoke to view and manage your token approvals.
Q4. Why isn’t the swap instant?
1inch aggregates liquidity and uses a batch auction mechanism to secure a better price, which can take a few minutes. If the order is canceled or expires, your tokens remain in your wallet or are automatically refunded. Gas fees already paid (e.g., for approvals) are non-refundable.
B. RWA & Stock Tokens
Q1. What is RWA?
RWA (Real-World Assets) refers to bringing traditional assets—like stocks, bonds, real estate, and gold—onto the blockchain through tokenization.
Compared to traditional finance, RWA offers:
- Lower entry barriers: Assets can be fractionalized, allowing more people to participate.
- Higher liquidity: Tokenized assets can be traded around the clock, 24/7.
- Convenience: No brokerage account required — you hold and manage them on-chain just like any other token.
Q2. What is a stock token?
A stock token is a type of RWA that represents the value of a real company’s stock. A regulated institution purchases and holds the real shares, then issues an equivalent number of tokens on-chain. The token’s price tracks the underlying stock.
Holders gain the economic benefits, such as price appreciation and dividends, but do not receive shareholder voting or governance rights.
Q3. What are Ondo stock tokens?
Ondo stock tokens provide economic exposure to real stocks and ETFs. Ondo Finance partners with institutions like Mastercard, J.P. Morgan, and regulated custodians to ensure every token is backed by real assets. This gives users on-chain access to U.S. stocks.

Q5. How do I get stock tokens in imToken, and what fees should I expect?
Go to the Browser tab in imToken and visit a DEX aggregator like 1inch. Swap using USDC, USDT and other supported tokens.
Fees may include:
- Gas fees: Paid to blockchain validators.
- DEX fees: Swap/LP fees charged by the DEX.
- Slippage: A price difference that occurs during execution, typically from volatility or insufficient liquidity.
Q6. Are there time limits for trading?
Ondo stock tokens trade across U.S. pre-market, regular, and after-hours sessions. Trading window: Monday 08:00 to Saturday 07:59 (SGT).
Q7. How are dividends paid on Ondo stock tokens?
Dividends aren’t paid out in cash. Instead, Ondo automatically reinvests net dividends into the same stock token.
Here’s how it works: when the company pays a dividend, Ondo withholds any required taxes. The net dividend is then used to purchase additional shares of the same stock. Your token count doesn’t change, but each token is backed by more underlying shares—boosting its long-term value.
Example:
- 1 token = 1 share of AAPL at $100.
- Dividend = $4 per share; after 25% withholding, net = $3.
- Ex-dividend, the share price adjusts to $96
- Reinvest $3 at $96 → buy 0.03125 shares.
- Your 1 token now represents 1.03125 AAPL shares.
Note: Withholding tax is deducted at source. The company (or its agent) withholds the required amount and remits it to the tax authority; you receive the net amount.
